Serino Coyne

It has been many years since I discovered Serino Coyne. I been wanting to work there since I started college. Serino Coyne specializes in advertising. Theatre Advertising. Two of my passions.

After years of applying to join the ranks, and a few pushes from a good friend of mine who is one of their biggest clients. I finally got a call from them to interview. Then the call me again for a second interview, and now I am waiting for more details and hopefully an offer. I am very confident that I did great on the interviews, but, they told me that they are still interviewing applicants. My friend Tom prep me to interview with the head of the company, but I never got to meet him.

I been trying to tie ends, first I was invisible, then my friend pushed the issue and I got an interview for a job I didn’t apply for, but is still suitable (junior graphic designer), then a the second interview I got asked how I know the head of Disney.  (meet him at an AIDA party). My only question to the Creative director was if I will eventually be able to talk directly to the clients about a project. His answer was a a strong NO. Graphic artists never meet the clients. Then I ask what are my chances of moving up the ladder and eventually meet clients. He told me that it will take a long while, if ever.

All the suddenly  realized that probably they will trying to discorage me to work there, and this interviews where played just to keep their big fish client happy. That was disappointing. I know I can bring a lot to the table.

I hope I am wrong, and they will call sometime for a third interview. The creative director seem honestly happy with my portfolio. Who know, maybe they where keeping a client happy by interviewing me, but they are now seriously thinking on keeping me.
