Late payments
This new jobs of mine is becoming a big hassle already.
First, what used to be a one-hour, $30 a week commute thanks to a car pool, jumped to a 2 hour, $120 a week commute. Why? The chick that is fucking the driver moved to the city, so I got kicked out of the car pool. Oh the power of vagina.
On top of that, this company has been failing to pay its employees, or in my case, hand out bad checks. For 5 weeks in a row I did not receive any payments, then I got 3 check checks, one of these check being a bad check, and after yet another week of not paying anybody, hopefully today we will get paid the remaining 3 weeks they own us. I was told sometime earlier this year, that the company gives Christmas bonuses. Fat chance that we get a Christmas bonus.
Also, when the company sent me to Asia this past October, I was order to bring my phone along and ALWAYS have it on and answered it. I was assured that the company would pick up the bill for that month. Well, the bill is here, I own ATT $450 in international calling and heavy texting. I am still waiting for the company to pick up that check.
What frustrates me the most is that I do not have another job to fall on too, and I just signed the lease for a new place, so I am trapped. I am spending about one hour a day, here are the office, sending resumes and applying to jobs. But, with Christmas coming up next week and New Year’s the following weeks, I may have to suck it up until January.
