The Wedding
I have not havd much time lately to blog about anything. I it is not looking much better in the upcoming days either.
This past weekend I was in Philadelphia at a wedding. I love weddings!
My besties’ family have been my adopted exended family for years. I know a lot of them, and they are all awesome fun people.
The weddingw as in a large venue in North Philly, after the church ceremony, everybody flowed to the reception party. Firt a cocktail hour with finger food and then a sit down dinner.
The event was catered, which I found interesting, giving catering is what I am doing for a living now. WIthout thinking about it, I was quietly judging the performance of the catereres. I must say, it was great. It was so nice to be in the guest side of a nice event for once! Open bar, free food and sit down dinner, I had a GREAT time.
THe following day, the (large) family and friends got together for brunch at the hotel where everybody was staying, we had a great time, then everybody say goodbye and we all promise to meet again for thanksgiving dessert (Another nice tradition of the Huges family) After eating Eddie and I took the long ride back to New York City. Philadelphia is such a lovely place.
